Oxford Christian Institute for Counselling

How do I obtain Counselling ?

OCIC offers short term counselling (8 sessions); medium term (a further 12) and longer term.  Regular reviews will be carried out between the client and the counsellor to ensure the counselling is meeting the needs of the client.

Counselling can be a painful experience but the commitment to it, in terms of finance and time, often leads to a more balanced and effective life.

Please contact us to make an appointment for the initial consultation.

Please download the “Application for Counselling” and our “Important Information on Counselling" or request them from the office. Once we receive this application form we will arrange the initial consultation.

Most of our clients refer themselves or are referred by their GP or other agency (e.g. employer, church or organisation). If you wish to send someone to us, please have the person contact us directly.

The initial consultation lasts 50 minutes, as do all the counselling sessions. At this initial session the cost of the initial consultation and ongoing counselling will be discussed.
